PCPM, pcpm, executive

On 5 December 2017 the students of the Master of Public Management (MPM) program had the opportunity to participate in the Berlin Foreign Policy Forum. Every year about 250 high-ranking politicians and government officials gather at this meeting, which is organized by the Körber Foundation (https://www.koerber-stiftung.de), to debate on German and European foreign policy. This year, the range of topics included the future of the European project, the nuclear dispute in North Korea and the stabilization of the Middle East. Among the speakers were for example the EU-commissioner for the security union Sir Julian King, Cem Özdemir, federal chairman of Bündnis 90/Die Grünen, as well as the South Korean presidential adviser Chung-in Moon, the Russian Deputy Foreign Secretary Igor Morgulov and German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel. All in all, the forum is the central place for discussing the role of Germany in the world and we were honored to participate this year.
