Graduates of the 8th cohort of the German-French Master of European Governance and Administration (MEGA) received their graduation documents during a festive ceremony in the German Ministry of the Interior (BMI) in Berlin on February 9, 2017. Hans-Georg Engelke, state secretary in the Bundesministerium des Innern (BMI) and Mme Carine Soulay, Directrice adjointe au Directeur général de l'Administration et de la Fonction publique handed the documents to the 19 graduates, before welcoming the incoming participants of the 9th MEGA cohort.

In their speaches, Mr. Engelke and Mme Soulay underlined the important contribution of the MEGA program to fostering European understanding and cooperation in times of the Brexit and growing nationalist tendencies in some countries. The participants' and alumni representatives for their part expressed their appreciation for the active MEGA network. According to their experience, investing time and energy in studying in the MEGA program is certainly worthwhile for participants and their employers.

On that note, we wish all participants of the MEGA 9 program best of luck for their studies
