On 10 January 2018, Anne-Marie Descôtes, Ambassador of the French Republic in Germany, accompanied by the university attachée, Prof. Valérie Lemarquand, visited the University of Potsdam to discuss the continuation of scientific relations. France is one of the priority regions in the university's internationalization strategy, and the MEGA program has an important position in this regard.
