Zentrum für praktische Sportpsychologie (ZPS)

The Zentrum für praktische Sportpsychologie (ZPS) offers coaching for competitive and elite sports.

The ZPS in its current form developed from several scientific projects carried out at the Chair of Sports Psychology at the University of Potsdam (from 2008 to 2017). The connection to UP Transfer GmbH serves to transfer knowledge from sports psychology research into practice. The standards of good practice at the ZPS are derived from the logic and dynamics of the field of practical sports psychology as personal coaching.

The fields of work of the ZPS include

• basic sports psychology training in youth competitive sport
• support from a sports psychology perspective in talent scouting and development
• sports psychology support in competitive sport (athletes, coaches and groups)
• conceptual development, structuring and quality assurance of sports psychology measures
• as well as supervision and further training in the field of practical sports psychology
