What a great night it was! On Tuesday, 18 June 2019, the MPM program officially celebrated its 20-year anniversary at Campus Griebnitzsee. At “MPM debates leadership” the audience could follow lightning talks, an interview as well as a panel discussion. Prof. Jann and Prof. Fuhr (two of the founding fathers of the program) took us down the MPM memory lane before the topic leadership was discussed in three lightning talks by Prof. Eric Kearney (Professor of Leadership, Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management at the University of Potsdam), our MPM alumna Kave Bulambo (founder of “My Career Path”) and Frank Burgdörfer (Managing Partner at “Polyspektiv”). The program was rounded off by a Panel where Heike Thiele (Head of the Leadership Skills Center at the Federal Foreign Office, Berlin), Susanne Weber-Mosdorf (Former Assistant Director General of the WHO) and Eric Kearney discussed the education of future leaders within the public sector.
The event was followed by a reception were students, alumni, current and former faculty and staff members as well as representatives of the University, our partner institutions and embassy officials celebrated into the night. A massive thank you to all our speakers and to everyone who came along to celebrate with us!
